
The Spectris Foundation is thrilled to announce that Leke Oluwole has been appointed as its newest Trustee. Leke is an experienced mechanical engineer and strategic leader with an extensive background in renewable energy, infrastructure, and innovation in the UK.
His expertise in delivering complex projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams, coupled with his passion for creating equitable opportunities through STEM education, will bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the Foundation. Driven by a belief that talent is everywhere but opportunity isn’t – a reflection of his own life journey – Leke is deeply committed to inclusion, access, and empowering underrepresented communities.
Through his work with public and private sector partners, as well as his active STEM volunteering, Leke has championed sustainable solutions while mentoring the next generation of engineers. His academic credentials include an MSc in Petroleum & Gas Engineering, a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, and he is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
We are confident that Leke’s appointment will strengthen our team and help drive forward our mission to improve access to STEM opportunities for all young people and build a brighter future.
